Molins de Rei has ample experience hosting cycling events. In 2023, its streets experienced the exciting finale of a Volta a Catalunya stage and, in 2024, it fired the starting gun for the final stage of the Volta a Catalunya Femenina.

CULTURE
Molins de Rei, in the Baix Llobregat, stands out for its cultural and natural heritage. The La Candelera Fair, declared a Festivity of National Interest, is one of its most emblematic events. The municipality is home to such monuments as the Castellciuró and the Chapel of Sant Pere Romaní.

SPORTS
The Club Natació Molins de Rei knows what it means to win the Women’s Water Polo League. It did so during the 1987-88 season, on the very same year that the Women’s División de Honor made its debut. The club currently competes in First Division, the second international water polo category.

Molins de Rei stands out for its vibrant gastronomy, celebrated in such events as the Mostra Gastronòmica MolinsBdegust, that promotes local cuisine through tastings and special menus.
