Marianne Vos (Team Jumbo-Visma): “An event up to the expectations”

I’m very happy [with my performance at La Vuelta Femenina by Carrefour.es]. Of course, it was great to start off with a win in the team time trial and we had good motivation to continue with these vibes. Then, of course, the two stage wins, the green jersey and the white jersey feel really good. Riejanne Markus also did a really great job in the general classification, barely missing out the podium. All in all, I think it has been a great Vuelta for us. It’s one of the big grand tours, it grew in the last years and it has gotten to become one of the biggest events of the season. The event has been up the expectations.
