Eleonora Ciabocco (Team dsm-firmenich PostNL): “We gave it all for Charlotte Kool today”

We gave it all for Charlotte [Kool] today. We wanted her to contest the sprint, and she came very close to do it after getting dropped in the climb and fighting her way back. With 3 kilometres to go, once I knew Juliette [Labous] was safe, I dropped back to help her regain a position at the front that enabled her to contend the sprint. We have two clear goals in this race: looking for stage wins with Charlotte in the sprints, and keeping Juliette out of trouble so she can land a nice GC result in the mountain stages. We are all united, chasing these two goals, and we hope for tomorrow to be a better day for us.
