Idoia Eraso (Laboral Kutxa-Fundación Euskadi): “We want to be seen”

We wanted to be in the breakaway today, and we made it. We knew it was our chance to be seen during the stage, and that later on we would have to support Nadia [Quagliotto] and Laura [Tomasi] for an eventual sprint. I’m happy I was on the break. It has been a demanding day for me, as it is always the case when you are at the front. Once in the Oronet climb, I gave it a go because I knew the break was about to be caught… and the later we were swept in, the better. From here on, we will see day by day how we will approach the race, although we have a priority: we want to be seen.
