La Vuelta Femenina by Carrefour.es and Aquaservice renew their commitment to sustainability for the third consecutive year

Aquaservice, a leading company in the field of mineral water distribution services with dispensers in Spain and Portugal, reaffirms its commitment to sustainability and to women’s sports by collaborating with La Vuelta Femenina 25 by Carrefour.es for the third consecutive year.
As a strategic sustainability partner of the cycling race, Aquaservice will distribute 6,000 litres of water through its circular reusable dispenser system. This solution will make it possible to hydrate more than 1,300 people – cyclists, members of the organisation and guests – without using single-use plastic bottles in any of the route’s seven stages.
In this way, the initiative will prevent the use of more than 12,000 plastic bottles of that type, equivalent to 192 kg of single-use plastics, during the race. The circular model with which Aquaservice has been operating for over 28 years not only reduces waste, but also incorporates a recovery and recycling system that prolongs the life of the materials, thus reinforcing its commitment to a real and measurable sustainability.

Since 2021, Aquaservice and La Vuelta have been developing a successful collaboration that has made it possible to turn cycling competitions into increasingly more sustainable events. As part of this collaboration, Aquaservice is also a strategic partner of La Vuelta Femenina by Carrefour since 2023, contributing its expertise in the field of sustainability and reaffirming its commitment to the planet, all while supporting women’s sports in Spain.
Through its ‘Sustainable Sports and Culture’ programme, Aquaservice also collaborates with other sports competitions and cultural events that seek to become more sustainable, such as the Royal Spanish Handball Federation, the Goya Awards and the Feroz Awards.
In this regard, Aquaservice continues to promote a responsible consumption model, focused on sustainability.
