Cat Ferguson (Movistar Team): “I’m disappointed with my sprint today”

Cat Ferguson (Movistar Team) was the best young rider in Stage 6 of La Vuelta Femenina 25 by Carrefour.es.

“I’m not the happiest. It’s great to have scored two top10 results but, to be honest, I wanted more. I’m disappointed with my sprint today. I wasn't there in the battle for the position. The start of the stage was really calm, and then a breakaway went, and we missed it. We were a little bit on the back foot and had to use some girls to chase, and maybe that resulted in at the end not having too many teammates to give a hand with positioning. But that’s how a bike race is. My legs felt good and it’s a shame I didn’t really get to use them, but I have to be happy with other things that I have achieved in this Vuelta. The team is going really well and Marlen (Reusser) is doing amazing on GC, so there are some positive things to take away.”
