“Why did I attack? Well, it wasn’t on the plan. I was hoping that somebody would jump on my wheel. Then I found myself alone in the lead, and I decided it was too long before the finish to keep going. It’s nice to race like this every now and then - I had fun. It has been a strange, stressful day because of the rain.”
