Petra Stiasny (Human Powered Health) won the final stage of La Vuelta Femenina 26 by Carrefour.es atop the Alto de l’Angliru.

“I still can’t believe it, honestly. I am speechless. All these emotions, all this happiness, are incredible. I have been looking forward to this stage since the moment they announced the route. I had only one thing in my head on the build-up to the Vuelta: this stage. It was a dream to win it. I was looking forward so much to this day. So many things had to go right this week for this to happen. When I reached the bottom of the final climb, I was thinking: ‘I made it to the Vuelta. I didn’t crash. I did a good job on the descents today. Now, I am free and at my happy place.’ I really enjoyed the Angliru, to be honest.”
